Grant of Food Licences

Food and Drug Administration M.S. Grants Licenses for Food manufacturers in Forms B as prescribed in the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act 1954 . The License is granted in Form B.


Stage1

Application for grant of Food Licence


The applicant has to make application in the requisite form and pay necessary fees.
Fee can be paid in cash at Head Office/Division as well as any other District Officer. The fee can also be paid through a challan at Government Treasury, Reserve bank of India, State Bank of India and State Bank of Hyderabad for Marathwada Region under Head of Account
0210 - Medical and Public Health.
04 - Public Health
104 - Fees and Fines, etc.

Documents to be attached along with the application form:
  • Application in Form A
  • Additional Information Form for getting Food Licence .
  • Receipt of payment of fees
  • Documents regarding possession of premises (Registration of Premises, Electricity Bill)
  • NOC of Gram Panchayat ,Municipal Corporation.
  • Documents regarding constitution of Firm viz Partnership-deed, memorandum and article of association etc.

Stage2

Inspection
The application is scrutinized and premises inspected.


Stage 3

Grant of Licence
If all conditions as prescribed by the act are complied license is granted
